Brook Bakery have been baking our delicious confectionery produce in Yorkshire since 1988. In this time, we have developed our sweet product range of British & continental favourites such as muffins, cupcakes, tray bakes, individual squares and biscuits. We source our ingredients locally to ensure all the confectionery we produce is done so to the highest Yorkshire standards, ready to be delivered to our commercial partners across the UK.
Indulgent treats
Muffins & cupcakes
We bake a range of longer life muffins the most popular being our lemon drizzle and double chocolate. However, we can produce many more flavours as well as create new ones. These are suitable for grab and go as well as vending, catering, food service and many others. Our cupcakes can be flavoured sponge with flavoured and coloured toppings. Tailor made
Traybakes
The variety of traybakes we make are numerous, but we are always open to new ideas. Our Rainbow Sponge and Topped Brownie are exceptional sellers and again, these are a longer life product and are boxed and palletised. Loaf cakes
Our loaf cakes can be used in catering, food service, for retail sales as well as having many other purposes. Boxes can be a set mixed box or a full box of one flavour. Classic choice
Individual squares
Our squares are individually acetated and wrapped before being boxed. They come in many flavours, some are topped, and some are not. They are baked in a large slab tray and cut evenly to a precise one portion size perfect for many outlets including grab & go as well as food service, vending and retail. Biscuits
We are expert at making both shortbread and cookies. Our butter shortbread is second to none! Our cookies are in various flavours, and can all be packaged on card, wrapped, and boxed to serve many purposes. They are especially suitable at Christmas for a traditional gift. Everyday sweet treat
Tarts
Treacle & Coconut tarts, Bakewell tarts and of course the traditional Jam or Lemon tart are crucial for any bakery section. The larger Bakewell and treacle & Coconut are acetated and wrapped in 2’s whereas the traditional jam and lemon tarts are acetated and wrapped in 4’s. A family run bakery
Brook Bakery originated as a retail shop in Shiregreen, Sheffield. It was purchased by John Emes at the age of 23 and he started trading from there on 4th July 1988. Beginning his career in retail John decided he would try his hand at baking, and so it began…
